The General Office of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China has just released the vacation arrangements for 2024, with the biggest change being that there will be no vacation on New Year's Eve, but the notice makes it clear that "all units are encouraged to combine the implementation of the system of paid annual leave with arrangements for employees to rest on New Year's Eve (February 9th)."

Despite the inclusion of the transfer, next year's Spring Festival holiday will be extended to nine days, which can be said to be the longest Spring Festival holiday in history.

February 10th to February 17th holiday transfer, a total of eight days. February 4th (Sunday), February 18th (Sunday) to work. Units are encouraged to arrange for employees to rest on New Year's Eve (February 9th) in conjunction with the implementation of paid annual leave and other systems.

Meanwhile, The ministry of transport of the people’s republic of China released this morning the free arrangements for highways during the 2024 Spring Festival, with the free time starting from 00:00 on New Year's Eve (February 9th). This move highlights the country's fundamental tenet of always putting people first and serving the people wholeheartedly.

We also look forward to compatriots from Hong Kong, China, Macao, China and Taiwan, China returning to the mainland to visit their families and reunite with them, and to come back to see more of the country's great mountains and rivers.
