China's manned lunar rover program preliminary selection announced
According to Tsinghua University's news website, "wàng shū zhī niǎn", a proposal for the development of a manned lunar rover led by Tsinghua University, has been selected as one of the "Preliminary Selection List of the Collection of Proposals for the Development of a Manned Lunar Vehicle" released by the China Manned Space Engineering Office (CMSEO).
The proposal integrates Chinese civilization and traditional culture into the design of the lunar rover, with engineering technology as the basis and humanistic thinking as the breakthrough.
The design team applies the satellite's attitude control idea to the lunar rover's traveling control, which can solve the problem of traveling control when the wheels of the lunar rover break down.
